Chris Jacobs is the New York State Senator representing Western New York in the 60th Senate District, sworn into office in January 2017. The district includes parts of the City of Buffalo, the City of Tonawanda, as well as the towns of Brant, Evans, Grand Island, Hamburg, Orchard Park and Tonawanda.
In 2011 he was elected Erie County’s ninth County Clerk and re-elected in 2014, Chris is the first Republican Erie County Clerk in 40 years.
Raised in Buffalo, Chris Jacobs has been a vocal advocate for expanding local business development and improving educational options.
Together, Peter leads the discussion on the upcoming projects that will take place at historic Canalside Buffalo. Projects include to restore a historic caracul, improvements on the Childs Museum and expansions at the naval park.
